Japanese IT company seeks a Japanese Bilingual System Engineer.

Job Description:

1. PC, Server, and Azure support for customers.
2. Assist & support customers (internal & external) with installation, upgrading, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing usability of workstations (desktops/laptops), printers, peripheral equipment, networking hardware, VPN, and software (on-site and remote).
3. Support in-person and remote employee support on hardware, software, questions, and network-related problems (on-site and remote).
4. Manage related servers & network documentation.
5. Create, manage, document, and update trouble tickets as necessary within the company ticketing system.
6. Escalate problems when unable to resolve.
7. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
8. Provide advanced level technical support with the Microsoft suite of products (Windows 10, Office 2016, etc.).
9. Ensure successful completion of all daily tasks (externally and self-assigned).
10. Knowledge and experience with Azure service and VM.
11. Create and update system documents, operation manuals, knowledge base, trouble history, etc.
12. Report to supervisor.

Experience Required:

2+ years of TCP/IP network work experience or equivalent knowledge.

Skills Required:

1. English (Required), Japanese (Required).
2. Helpdesk support experience (Preferred).
3. Communication skills with customers, vendors/carriers, and company staff.
4. Documentation skills.
5. Microsoft Office products (Visio, Word, etc.) skills.
6. Own car for visiting customer offices.
7. Knowledge of Azure (Desired).
8. MCSA/MCSE (Desired).
