Minimum Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in programming language(s) like Java and frameworks like Spring Boot
• Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
• Practical cloud native experience
• Solid experience with Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps tools (Terraform, CI/CD)
• Experience with Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of a team that works to build, enhance, and deliver tools for SDLC
• Contribute to design and system architectures
• Provide technical expertise to the team, work proactively and independently to address project requirements, and work closely with wider stakeholders to deliver projects
• Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others
• Drive decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
• Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
• Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
