International Tax Manager

Working in a fast-paced environment, this role will expose you to various aspects of international taxation, such as U.S. and foreign country tax planning and incentives, compliance, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, and foreign tax provisions. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our talented Tax Team, as well as work closely with operating unit personnel and external advisors.
Responsibilities
Planning:
- Assist with the development and implementation of tax planning strategies that align with business objectives through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Engage and assist with M&A including acquisition structuring and integration.
- Work closely with Treasury and Accounting to manage intercompany funding requirements, including leverage planning, cash contributions, and repatriation strategies.
- Research, understand and model the impact to the Company of potential tax legislation.
Compliance:
- Manage the US international tax calculations and forms including Forms 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993, and 1118
- Responsible for GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, BEAT, 163(j), cost allocations, and foreign tax credit optimization.
- Manage the Corporate Tax review of non-US income tax returns, GAAP to Stat and return-to-provision adjustments.
- Manage the Corporate Tax review of BEPS reporting requirements [local file, master file, CbCR notification, etc.]
- Maintain international tax compliance calendar.
- Coordinate select international credit and incentive processes with external advisors.
- Manage the GloBe Information Return and associated calculations.
- Work with internal stakeholders to design a process for data collection and statutory audit management.
- Continuous monitoring of local country jurisdictional rates
Provision:
- Review tax reporting from non-US locations and identify potential issues.
- Responsible for follow-up and resolution of items identified as potential issues in non-US review.
- Oversee the preparation the GILTI/FDII/BEAT/FTC calculations.
- Model and forecast Pillar Two impact for provision.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA, JD and/or MST preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of tax experience working in a Big 4 Accounting Firm and/or a large multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of US International Tax concepts (GILTI, BEAT, FDII, Subpart F Income, foreign tax credits, earnings and profits, etc.).
- Extensive experience in preparation and review of international forms strongly preferred.
- Strong tax research, writing and analytical skills required.
- Ability to interface with tax and business management at all levels.
- Self-directed individual with strong communication and partnering skills; strong analytical skills, time management, and prioritization skills required.
- Ability to proactively identify and implement process improvements.
