About the Opportunity:
Our client is a leading residential real estate brokerage specializing in new development leasing across Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. They represent landlords and developers, working on projects that range from walk-up buildings to luxury new developments. Their mission is to set the standard in landlord services and new development, and they are seeking a dedicated Director of New Development Leasing to join their team. The Director of New Development Leasing will play an integral role in managing projects from inception through execution. This role focuses on collaborating with developers in the pre-development stage, assisting with unit mixes, layouts, and pricing, and transitioning projects into the marketing and leasing stages once a signed exclusive agreement is in place. The Director will oversee all aspects of project management to ensure successful lease-ups.

Role and Responsibilities:
• Oversee pitch preparation for new business; pitch with our team and see that the exclusive agreement is fully executed
• Manage research efforts to support pricing and marketing strategies, including conducting comparative market studies to assist in property positioning and leasing effectiveness
• Partner with developers during the pre-development phase, advising on unit mixes, ideal unit layouts, amenity guidance, and pricing to create competitive, market-ready properties
• Partner with the Director of Marketing who will be working with creative agencies and outsourced consultants on advertising, signage, and collateral materials; oversee marketing direction and timelines
• Partner with the Director of Leasing to develop and execute leasing strategies tailored to each property's unique characteristics and ensure the agent team is prepped for lease up
• Continuously analyze opportunities for efficiencies and leverage technology to assist with process improvements
• Assist with identifying new business opportunities and conducting outreach to expand our portfolio
Qualifications:
• Experience: 8+ years in real estate, with a minimum of 5 years in new development leasing
• Expertise: Strong knowledge in projected rents, layout optimization, amenity selection, and design
• Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent project management capabilities
• Industry Insight: Understanding of market trends and property value drivers, with the ability to provide developers with actionable insights from project inception
Compensation: A competitive salary ranging from $150,000 - $190,000 based on experience and qualifications, with additional incentives available for successful project completions.
