Description
Oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Coordinate the activities of subcontractors and vendors, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
Promote and enforce a culture of safety on construction sites, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Monitor project budgets closely, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the construction process.
Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff, to achieve project goals and objectives.
Profile Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent. Experience with design-build construction projects is highly preferred. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and communicate with clients and stakeholders. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
