Construction Superintendent – Commercial Projects (Western U.S. Travel Required)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced
Construction Superintendent
to oversee commercial construction projects across the Western U.S. This role requires travel to job sites and direct supervision of field operations, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders. Conduct daily site inspections, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and other team members to report progress, challenges, and necessary adjustments. Lead and motivate field teams, ensuring productivity and adherence to project goals. Handle project documentation, including RFIs, daily reports, and punch lists. Qualifications: 5+ years
of experience as a
Construction Superintendent
in commercial construction (ground-up and renovation projects preferred). Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and project scheduling. Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades. Ability to travel as needed to various project locations across the Western U.S. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
