JOB DESCRIPTION: Solutions Architect - Corporate Systems We are excited to welcome a bright, experienced, and driven Solutions Architect - Corporate Systems to our newly established Solutions Architecture team. As a Solutions Architect for Corporate Systems, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that support our corporate operations. You will work closely with various business units to understand their needs and translate them into efficient, scalable, and reliable software architectures. Your role will involve ensuring that our corporate systems and aligning with the overall IT strategy and business objectives of the organization. Key Responsibilities Solution Design and Architecture : Develop high-level designs for corporate systems. Create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team. Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with business leaders to understand their challenges and requirements. Facilitate workshops and meetings to define system requirements and translate them into actionable design specifications. Project Management and Leadership : Lead cross-functional project teams through the design, development, and implementation stages of system projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Vendor Management : Work with external vendors and consultants to develop systems and integrate external systems with our internal architecture. Technical Guidance and Support : Provide technical leadership and support to software development teams. Ensure best practices and architectural guidelines are followed. Continuous Improvement : Continuously analyze current processes and systems for potential improvements. Propose and implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness. Stakeholder Communication : Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders including senior management and non-technical staff to ensure alignment and awareness of project status and strategic direction. System Integration Success Rate: Measure the percentage of successful system integrations without major issues or downtime. Project Delivery Timeliness: Track the percentage of projects delivered on time according to the project timeline. Solution Performance and Scalability: Monitor the performance and scalability of implemented solutions against defined benchmarks. Defect Rate: Measure the number of defects identified post-deployment in solutions designed by the architect. Stakeholder Satisfaction: Collect feedback from stakeholders on the effectiveness and efficiency of implemented solutions. Cost Efficiency: Monitor the cost efficiency of solutions, comparing budgeted vs. actual costs. Technology Adoption Rate: Track the rate at which new technologies and frameworks are adopted within the organization. Compliance and Security: Measure adherence to security protocols and compliance standards in solutions designed. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar role in a corporate IT environment. Minimum 5 years' experience with architecture APIs (REST, RPC), and experience with enterprise software development. Experience with ERP systems, CRM software, and other corporate operational systems, Workday preferred. Experience with cloud technologies and services, Oracle Cloud preferred (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong project management experience working with Agile methodologies. Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills. Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in finance, such as SOX, GDPR, or PCI DSS Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), nice to have. LI-KD1 LI-REMOTE DBCORP Position Location: North Carolina Compensation Range: $87,800.00 - $161,200.00 Compensation Frequency: Annual Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
