We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator with a highlighted focus on retail and mixed-commercial projects to join their team in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in estimating ground-up projects.

Description

  • The Estimator works to prepare estimates and proposals for conceptual projects
  • Complete assigned project estimates on established deadlines and priorities.
  • Prepare clear and effective proposals for review by the Lead Estimator for assigned projects according to standard processes.
  • Assist in performing value engineering of new or alternate materials, means and methods of construction.
  • Assist in soliciting or qualifying and qualify proposals from suppliers and/or subcontractors; participate in the procurement process, as directed
  • Provide estimating assistance with Change Orders, as required.

Profile

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with a general contractor
  • Bachelor's degree in construction field preferred
  • Experience leading and assisting on commercial construction projects
  • Exemplifies good leadership qualities and characteristics
  • Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, materials, and local subcontractors
  • Previous mentorship experience is a strong plus
