About this opportunity:
This position is responsible for Originating graphic designs for a variety of print and digital projects in a fast-paced environment to support fundraising efforts, special events, programs, and activities for the Southern Territory. Ensures that all projects meet the Salvation Armys nationally approved graphic standards.
Key responsibilities:
Creates and produces a wide variety of digital and printed graphics design products and independently tracks progress throughout the creative process from client concept to delivery. Utilizes Adobe Creative Suite to design and prepare a wide range of graphic materials; performs routine and complex duties in preparation for printing and posting online including all necessary prepress steps.
Create design templates for printable material and social media material within Canva and Ministry Toolkit for us to all Southern Territory; conceptualize design and style for Canva and Ministry Toolkit material and uploads What we are looking for in you:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Graphic Design or a related field, and Two years of progressively responsible creative graphic design artwork experience with demonstrated ability to work independently and complete the full graphic development process from original draft concept to final product. or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Licenses and Certifications Valid Drivers License. Physical Requirements Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to type. Ability to operate a telephone, computer, camera, and desktop publishing and scanner equipment. Ability to concentrate on detailed work for extended periods. Ability to perform and complete creative tasks in a flexible manner and under the pressure of tight deadlines. Working Conditions Work usually is performed in an open office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
