Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid Option)

Billable Hours Target: 1900 per year

Position Summary:

The Law Firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Employment Defense Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in employment litigation, preferably within a defense-oriented role. This position offers an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to build their expertise in employment law within a supportive and progressive firm environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defend employers in a variety of employment litigation cases, including claims related to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related matters.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and requests for production.
• Provide legal counsel to clients, helping them navigate complex employment law issues while minimizing liability.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations as necessary.
• Collaborate with the firm’s partners and senior associates to develop case strategies.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 1-3 years of experience in employment defense litigation, ideally within a law firm environment.
