We are seeking an experienced Digital Strategist with a strong focus on email and CRM strategies to join our digital strategy team. In this role, you will be responsible for auditing, evaluating, planning, and advising on email marketing strategies across B2B, B2C, and retail brands. With your expertise, you'll guide clients through campaign development, manage segmentation, automation, and creative testing in various ESPs, and present actionable insights and recommendations. This role is a dynamic blend of strategy, creative, analytics, and client communication, perfect for a candidate with around five years of experience in email marketing and CRM.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Strategic Audits & Planning: Conduct audits of current email/CRM strategies, identify opportunities, and create strategic plans to drive client goals.
  • Campaign Management & Optimization: Oversee campaign setup, segmentation, automation, and A/B testing within ESPs; ensure best practices and high-quality execution.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze email/CRM campaign performance using ESP reporting tools and Google Analytics, delivering actionable insights to optimize strategies.
  • Client Communication & Presentations: Present strategies, campaign results, and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner; articulate complex data and strategy in a way that aligns with client objectives.
  • Platform Expertise: Work within various ESPs and/or CRMs (e.g. MailChimp, AIQ, Klaviyo, Salesforce, HubSpot, and ActOn) to execute campaigns and advise on best practices.
  • SMS Marketing Support: Collaborate on SMS strategies as needed, including planning and campaign setup to support omnichannel marketing efforts.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience: 5+ years in email marketing and CRM, including experience with campaign management, reporting, and optimization within ESPs. Exposure to MailChimp, AIQ, Klaviyo, Salesforce, HubSpot, or ActOn is highly preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and reporting with Google Analytics and ESPs to make data-informed decisions and drive strategy.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of segmentation, automation, and A/B testing within email platforms.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present strategies, campaign performance, and recommendations concisely and effectively.
  • Agency Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, with the ability to manage multiple clients, coordinate with internal teams, navigate approval processes, and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience in SMS marketing strategy is a plus.
