About this opportunity:
Ericsson's Real Estate (RE) team creates and manages engaging physical and digital workplaces to support innovation and productivity. It partners with Ericsson businesses on value creation, sustainability, and brand experience. As part of a transformation to new ways of working, Global Workplace Operations (GWO) oversees Workplace Experience and Services across Ericsson's global portfolio.
This role leads the North American Headquarters, reporting to the Americas Head of GWO. You will build relationships with Ericsson business leaders and advise on workplace operations across the region, ensuring delivery of Workplace Experience and Services through both internal teams and outsourced partners. Collaborating with Portfolio & Project Management, IT, Security, EHS, and local business units, you will oversee Facilities Management, Workplace Experience, Stakeholder Management, and small-scale projects, while managing costs, energy, and sustainability efforts.
What you will do: Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior leaders across Ericsson businesses to enhance trust and alignment. Serve as a single point of contact (SPOC) for business leaders, understanding business strategies and how RE impacts them. Act as an intermediary, sharing business knowledge within the RE unit and advocating RE strategy and principles to business leaders. Engage and guide RE SMEs to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with RE strategy and contributing to smooth operations in the region. Own and manage digital stakeholder communications to ensure visibility of strategy discussions and action points. Align workplace strategies, practices, and operations with Global Real Estate strategies. Communicate with stakeholders on budget forecasting, space utilization, facility management, workplace experience, and cost-saving initiatives. Build and maintain a strong relationship with the IFM partner to ensure active contribution to regional tasks. Oversee finance and cost control, ensuring regional budgeting and financial targets are met. Work with service partners to provide creative solutions for meetings, events, and activities. Lead and deploy Workplace Experience programs in the Americas, collaborating with Global Real Estate to enhance employee experience. The skills you bring: Have a BA, BSc, MSC, or similar. Have 5 years of workplace management experience, with both operational FM and stakeholder management roles. Make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, and top management. Exhibit Change & Improvement Management Skills. Show understanding of Real Estate Process, Models & Strategies. In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles and proficiency to conduct financial/business analysis. Negotiation & Argumentation Skills Strong leadership and management experience within multiple site Region. Major corporate campus facilities experience and running several projects, sites and financials within a multiple state portfolio.
