THE POSITION

The Honeywell Offering Management Leader is responsible for defining a portfolio strategy of software products based on industry trends, customer insights, competitive and market intelligence. The Leader is responsible for executing that strategy to optimize the offerings, market position, organic growth, and financial return of the product portfolio across the product lifecycle. Offering Managers work closely with cross-functional departments to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the organization's product portfolio today and in the future.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and portfolio that aligns with our business goals and market opportunities around digitalization, and sustainability. Ideate and define new software products to grow the value and revenue across Honeywell's industrial and sustainability offerings. Build and manage a team of product managers, to deliver world-class products. Partner with the Sr. Development Directors and their Development teams on New Product Introduction (NPI) investment plans by each product line and monitor outcomes. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify customer needs and market opportunities. Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends to inform product development decisions. Define and prioritize product features and roadmaps based on customer feedback, market analysis, and business priorities. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and to high quality standards. Monitor product performance and customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings. Work with the HCI After Market Solutions (AMS) team to define, develop, and implement the right KPIs and SW components to enable HCI's AMS business.

YOU MUST HAVE

15+ years leading Operations, Production, Reliability in verticals such as oil & gas, power & utilities, life sciences, sustainable technologies, etc. Experience running a manufacturing plant and deep understanding of operational, productivity, safety, workforce requirements and driving towards a lean, digital native plant. 10+ years in digital transformation, enterprise software Product Management, Business Development, Technical Pre-sales, Software Development, Professional Services. 5+ years leading a team. Experience in SaaS, PaaS, Cloud-based software offerings, as well as a subscription / recurring revenue-based business. Understanding of industrial process technologies and industrial software. Experience with IoT, data management, application of AI/ML in industrials. Inbound and outbound product management experience; Agile product development methodology; gathering and prioritizing customer requirements; competitive analysis; authoring technical white papers; driving requirements through R&D; managing and executing beta/ preview programs; field enablement; working with product marketing on market requirements and segmentation; product packaging; licensing; product collaterals; customer presentations. Strong grasp of/focus on usability with experience in driving UI focused products; have worked closely w/ UI design team to drive UI task flows and have preferably participated in usability testing. Ability to communicate business values to the commercial team and customers. Proven track record of successfully defining an entire enterprise-level software product or a major release of a product and delivering it to the market. Proven organizational skills; detail oriented; strong project management skills; ability to multi-task and work on several assignments concurrently; able to coordinate people and processes to deliver a product. Ability to define a strategic vision and to articulate it in front of a variety of audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong relationships and establishing credibility with customers, prospects, analysts, sales, R&D, and the management team.

WE VALUE

BS, MS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. An MBA in General Management, Technology Strategy, or Finance. The ability to understand customer's needs and translate them into software solutions. Ability to influence a wide group of employees including Leadership, Development, Consulting and Sales.
