Salary:
$260,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex labor and employment cases. Manage routine to complex legal matters with minimal supervision. Conduct thorough policy reviews, lead investigations, and respond to administrative charges. Handle a diverse range of employment-related disputes including wage and hour disputes and class action lawsuits. Draft and critically review legal documents such as motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements. Engage in negotiations and provide strategic legal counsel to clients. Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Admission to the Bar in the State of Illinois or eligibility to waive in. 6–8 years of substantive experience in labor and employment litigation and counseling. Demonstrable expertise in managing single-plaintiff cases and wage-hour conflicts. Proven ability to handle class/collective action issues and conduct effective policy assessments and investigations. Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a leadership role within a legal team. Background in working with diverse client sectors. Experience in federal court litigation. Previous role in a major law firm or corporate legal department. Additional certifications relevant to labor and employment law. Skills: Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
