We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the construction/contractor industry, based in Poway, California. We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team, where you will be responsible for various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer billing
• Keep an accurate electronic rental board and maintain rental equipment inventory
• Schedule deliveries, pickups, services, repairs, and fueling for rental units
• Create rental agreements as needed
• Process vendor purchase orders (PO's) and invoices
• Reconcile all vendor and customer invoices at the end of each month to ensure all jobs have been processed
• Maintain accurate records and files for customers, vendors, and equipment
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Great Plains (GPAC) in daily tasks.• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the construction/contractor industry
• Proficient in account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial records
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Skilled in billing processes and procedures, including invoice generation and payment tracking
• Strong data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed
• Expertise in invoice processing, including verification, data entry, and payment processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) software for accounting and financial management.
