Seeking a Multi-Site Human Resources Manager Job DescriptionThe Senior Human Resources Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor to plant leadership across multiple plant locations, partnering closely with operations teams, including processing and warehousing, to implement HR strategies that align with business goals, manage employee relations, ensure compliance with labor laws, drive workforce engagement, and support talent acquisition and development within the manufacturing environment, all while focusing on optimizing productivity and maintaining a positive workplace culture.Supervisory Responsibility:Coach and mentor a team of 3-5 plant-based HR professionalsKey Areas of Responsibility:Employee Relations:Address and resolve employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts promptly and effectively.Conduct investigations into employee issues, ensuring fair and consistent disciplinary action when necessary.Facilitate positive communication between management and employees to maintain a healthy work environment.Monitor and address potential labor relations issues, collaborating with management and employees when applicable.Performance Management:Partner with managers to set clear performance expectations and goals for employees.Conduct and facilitate performance review process and provide feedback to employees and managers.Identify and address performance gaps through coaching, development plans, and training opportunities.Talent Acquisition and Development:Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to identify staffing needs and recruit qualified candidates for plant roles.Design and implement onboarding programs to ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the company.Develop and execute training programs to upskill the workforce and address critical skills gaps.Identify high-potential employees and build succession plans for key positions.Workforce Planning and Analysis:Analyze workforce data to identify trends and predict future staffing needs.Develop strategies to optimize workforce productivity and efficiency.Participate in budget planning and labor forecasting.Compliance Management:Ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws and regulations, including safety standards.Monitor and interpret changes in employment laws and implement necessary updates to company policies.Conduct regular compliance audits and address any potential issues proactively.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.7 years' related HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.2+ years of supervisory experience.Strong understanding of labor laws and employment regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with employees and managers at all levels.Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Experience with performance management systems and talent development initiatives.Time and scheduling flexibility to support HR services across a multi-state, multi-shift operation.Travel up to 25%, primarily via air travel.
