Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Join a collaborative, comprehensive team on our Pediatric Cardiothoracic ICU Service. As an APP on this service, you can make a difference in our patient and families lives.

The APP team works to manage the care for the patients in the Peds CTICU post operatively and pre operatively. APPs also assist in coordinating some care and provide some outpatient follow up visits.

Salary range : $74.95 - $100.86/hourly

* Successful completion of a PA Program-required ( Master's preferred) * CA PA License- required * National PA Board Certification- required * BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required * PALS certification from American Heart Association -required * NPI #, DEA #,- required * Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES-required

* Pediatric CTICU exp -preferred * Cardiology experience -preferred * Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs-required * Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required * Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required * Ability to set priorities-required * Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required * Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required
