Join our dynamic Cornea and Uveitis clinic team in Westwood as an Administrative Assistant! In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring seamless communication between physicians and patients while providing essential support to the team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Check-in and check-out patients * Process co-payments * Respond or route patient messages * Obtain authorizations and referrals * Schedule appointments * Prepare patient billing

Salary Range: $25.60-$36.33 Hourly

We are seeking a positive and ambitious team player with...

* One year experience working in a medical office including answering telephones, interacting with patients and familiarity with current billing practices including governmental plans. * One year of experience scheduling patient appointments in computerized appointment scheduling system. * Excellent interpersonal skills which promote pleasant and effective communications with patients, staff and doctors. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Flexible personality and ability to adapt to changing needs of department. * Ability to interact calmly and effectively in challenging situations. * Experience working in an Ophthalmology practice preferred.
