Under general supervision provide professional nursing care of Surgery Center patients in all phases of preoperative and postoperative care. Perform pre op admission, PACU care, post op care, and evaluation for discharge. Develop care plans based on nursing diagnosis and nursing process. Provide orientation to new staff. Maintain professional standards. Provide preoperative and postoperative teaching.. Assess plan, develop, document and evaluate patient care plans. Provide guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks. Assess patient, family and staff learning needs and promote effective working relationships

We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:
* Current California RN license required * BSN or MSN required * BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required * ACLS and PALS required * 2 yrs recent ICU/ER/PACU experience required * PCCN Preferred * Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis * Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments * Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff * Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
