Lakewood, CO (hybrid) Type : Contract Duration : 3 months (with the possibility of extending) Pay : $35 - $45/hour (depending on experience) About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced IT Project Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves working closely with the VP of IT to manage, prioritize, and communicate various IT projects, ensuring they align with company goals and objectives.
Essential Functions: Project Planning & Management:
Collaborate with the VP of IT to manage, prioritize, and communicate projects, priorities, and tradeoffs within the IT department and across the company. Technical Oversight:
Work with IT teams to coordinate the design, testing, and implementation of solutions effectively. Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and transparency. Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all projects comply with relevant standards and maintain thorough documentation.
Required Skills: Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT project management or a related technical organizational role. Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Technical Skills: Solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development lifecycles (SDLC). Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project). Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. Basic knowledge of programming languages and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certifications, or equivalent (preferred).
Soft Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
