Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Marketing Director to lead our efforts in generating new prospects, managing sales contacts, and crafting effective sales collateral for our events. This role requires an individual who can think strategically while also being hands-on in executing email campaigns and ensuring alignment across marketing and sales teams. The successful candidate will have proven expertise in B2B marketing, with a deep understanding of sales funnels, lead generation, and creating high-impact, measurable marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Lead B2B Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive B2B product marketing strategies that drive attendee engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness. Prospect Generation: Identify and target new prospects through strategic marketing campaigns, including direct outreach, event sponsorships and email marketing. Email Campaigns & Automation: Design, implement, and optimize targeted email campaigns aimed at driving event registrations, nurturing leads, and generating conversions. Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless lead handoff, follow-up, and tracking of event leads through the CRM system. Content Creation: Create compelling sales collateral including presentations, brochures, case studies, and landing pages to support event marketing efforts and lead nurturing. Event Marketing Execution & Oversight: Manage end-to-end logistics of virtual, hybrid, and in-person event marketing, ensuring all marketing materials, communications, and execution align with event goals. Budget Management: Develop and manage the B2B marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective execution of campaigns and events while meeting KPIs. Metrics and Reporting: Measure and report on the success of marketing campaigns, including lead quality, engagement rates, and ROI. Use data-driven insights to continually improve performance. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, ensuring a collaborative approach to strategy and execution while fostering a culture of creativity and accountability. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in creating and executing successful email marketing campaigns (preferably using platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, etc.) Strong understanding of sales funnels, CRM systems (Salesforce, etc.), and lead tracking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content and presentations. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from campaign performance data. Experience managing event logistics for both virtual and in-person events.
