Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced General Sales Manager. The General Sales Manager position includes all duties related to running a successful Ford Dealership Sales Team. The right person for this job will already understand everything required, but here are a few areas that they will be responsible for. The dealerships sales objectives, goals, and overall customer satisfaction at the dealership. The manager must effectively manage all sales department personnel; including recruit, hire, and train team members. Have a strong knowledge of the local market and an understanding of the sales departments financial data. In addition to managing sales operations, the General Sales Manager will be responsible for working with the General Manager for inventory management, ensuring that new and used vehicle inventory levels are appropriate and that models are stocked correctly to meet market demand. Addressing customer complaints promptly and effectively is a key performance indicator for this role. The General Sales Manager will also be responsible for all sales marketing, managing relationships with lead providers and aggregators, and ensuring a fair return on investment for the dealership. The working with factory representatives to adhere to Ford's sales, training and marketing standards is another requirement. Understanding, keeping informed of, and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect sales operations. You must adhere to and enforce dealership policies and procedures, while safeguarding dealership assets and customer data. The completion of required training, and adhering to consistent and reliable work schedule. Other duties may be required as assigned. This role is not only about managing sales but also about developing employees and fostering a culture of excellence within the dealership.
