ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences (ADS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team in support of the 402d Software Engineering Group at Robins Air Force Base, GA. This on-site, daily position requires a professional capable of working independently without the support of junior staff. Candidates must hold a current active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. While the Security+ CE certification is not required at the time of hire, it must be obtained within 120 days of starting the position.
The ideal candidate will have advanced technical expertise, exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), and strong interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders. This role is best suited for self-motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and are committed to delivering innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop, modify, and maintain software applications for avionics, weapons systems, and support equipment.
Work with a range of programming languages, tools, and platforms to ensure software meets operational and performance requirements.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate software with hardware components.
Perform testing and debugging to ensure seamless system functionality.
Provide expert guidance to teams in solving complex technical challenges.
Contribute to the design and implementation of advanced features and system architectures.
Work closely with other engineers, stakeholders, and military personnel to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer/Electrical Engineering
Minimum 7 years’ software development.
Required to have Security+ CE certification
Not required to start but must be obtained within 120 days of starting
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
C+ + Java
Python for backend stack
HTML
CSS
Javascript for frontend
Experience with three or more of the following concepts:
DevSecOps
Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Pipelines
Agile SW Development
Full Stack Development
Cloud Based Design/Development
Containerization
Git
Object Oriented Programming
Individual(s) will be expected to perform at a Senior/SME level with minimal to no assistance from junior level organic staff.
