Position Summary
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis role is responsible for directing the preparation of the annual budget, forecasting, cash flow planning, analysis of results and other strategic activities as requested. This is a corporate position that will work closely with the CFO, the Executive Team and Manufacturing Management by directing and complex entity-wide activities directly and through indirect resources. Key Responsibilities
Direct the preparation of the Annual Budget by the operating units, assist functional groups in budget preparation, develop performance targets, and consolidate/report/evaluate outputs. Direct the preparation of the Monthly Financial Forecast, evaluate outputs, report key points to leadership, and identify opportunities to enhance performance. Establish and monitor cash flow planning processes, project debt service requirements, capital planning, and timely identification of borrowing needs. Analyze results, identify key trends, one-time events, and align with budget and financial forecasts. Participate in the development and presentation of the Strategic Plan with business units, acting as financial counsel during development. Identify actions/opportunities for the business to improve financial results, cash flow, asset management, and risk mitigation. Demonstrate knowledge of legal entity matters, external compliance, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Update/create standard operating procedures in accordance with company policies. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating collaboratively with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management. Support and help develop the team with professional development goals. Help the company meet its Strategic, Quality, and Safety objectives. Other duties may be assigned. Core Expectations

Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Accounting or Finance major). MBA is a plus. 10 or more years of related work experience in a corporate setting with a strong understanding of manufacturing and cost accounting. Solid Excel foundation. Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze information skillfully. Functional & Cognitive Requirements of Position
Ability to walk, sit, or stand for significant periods. Ability to lift 50 pounds, carry 50 pounds, and push/pull up to 20 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and/or stairs. Ability to stoop, crouch, kneel, and bend. Ability to handle, feel, and grip for some activities. Ability to learn new tasks and communicate effectively. Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance. Experience
10 or more years of related work experience in a corporate setting with a strong understanding of manufacturing and cost accounting in a multi-state or multi-national environment preferred.
