QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary: Client Investments is seeking a highly skilled QA Software Engineer to join the Advanced Process Solutions division. This role involves crafting and developing automated test cases, along with in-house software utilities, as part of a dynamic scrum team. The QA Automation Engineer will work on ensuring high-quality software delivery by creating comprehensive automated tests, while collaborating with global teams in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: • Develop automated test cases and software utilities for testing applications. • Ensure high-quality delivery through test automation and execution. • Reinforce quality direction and contribute to the strength of the team. • Collaborate with globally dispersed team members to ensure consistent application of quality engineering standards. • Work closely with the team to understand integration points across microservices, BPMN, and other architectures. • Communicate across multiple layers of the organization to maintain quality. • Demonstrate an agile mentality in actions and behaviors. • Participate in the design and development of automated testing suites. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 5 years in Software Quality Engineering roles. • Experience with Appian, Camunda, or other BPM applications. • Proven technical skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, GitHub, SQL, Insomnia, Postman, and REST APIs. • Solid understanding of Jenkins CI/CD principles and tools. • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, JEST, Cucumber, Selenium, Karate, JUnit). • Experience working in an Agile team environment.
