to join their growing team. With a strong focus on engineering excellence and innovative material science, the company provides customized solutions to meet demanding requirements across diverse industries, including aerospace, defense, industrial (oil & gas, fluid processing), and consumer markets. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a driven, customer-focused professional with technical expertise to contribute to the company's growth while working in a supportive, down-to-earth team environment. Description Manage and grow assigned customer accounts, creating new parts and replacing competitor solutions where applicable. Focus 50% on account management and 50% on new business development, including cultivating relationships within aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. Leverage existing relationships and develop new ones to drive opportunity creation and revenue growth. Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with expectations. Act as a subject matter expert for the company's customizable rubber products and material solutions. Collaborate with customer technical teams and internal engineering to identify and develop solutions for complex challenges. Position the company as a trusted total solution provider, fostering long-term customer relationships. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue within assigned accounts, territories, or verticals. Track and manage customer interactions, opportunities, and pipelines in the CRM system. Monitor and report on key sales metrics, providing insights for forecasting and performance tracking. Assist with developing sales processes and systems as part of the company's exciting growth stage. Attend trade shows, visit existing and prospective clients, and represent the company at relevant industry events. Profile Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or a Technical discipline preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in a sales engineer or technical sales role. Technical background in rubber molding, plastic molding, injection molding, or sealing applications. Experience selling into aerospace, defense, or industrial sectors is strongly preferred. Proficient in CRM systems and advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a consultative sales approach. Willingness to travel overnight (up to 50% or as required). Self-starter who is hungry, ambitious, and proactive, with the ability to manage their own business. Customer-centric mindset with a passion for building lasting relationships.
