Overview
POSITION OVERVIEW
Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, conducting research and analyzing statements and trends for a set group of assigned operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
LOCATION This is a hybrid position out of our HQ in Jacksonville, FL. DUITES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares and posts journal entries to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Responsible for reviewing and analyzing balance sheets and income statement trends for a select group of assigned operations. Prepares balance sheet reconciliations and researches and corrects general ledger account discrepancies. Researches and resolves reconciling items on bank reconciliations. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Assists in audit, project support, and other duties as assigned. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related discipline. Requires 1 - 3+ years of accounting related experience. Intermediate skills in MS Excel and other MS applications. Must be willing to work overtime as needed. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work with minimum supervision in a team-oriented environment. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Oracle CPA certification Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
