We are inviting applications for an Accounting Specialist role based in Garden Ridge, Texas, United States. The position requires you to assist our financial department with responsibilities including processing payments, tracking expenses, and managing invoices using QuickBooks Online. This role also includes data entry, financial reconciliations, and asset management duties.
Responsibilities
• Utilize QuickBooks Online for managing invoices, tracking expenses, and processing payments
• Employ advanced Excel skills for creating pivot tables, using VLOOKUP, and building formulas
• Utilize Smartsheets for effective project management and team collaboration
• Conduct accurate financial validations and reconciliations, addressing any discrepancies promptly
• Oversee assets, understanding depreciation methodologies, and lease accounting
• Manage WO and PO processes and reconcile customer/vendor accounts accurately
• Understand government contracts, ensure compliance, and prepare for audits
• Maintain accurate records, ensuring the integrity of financial data
• Assist in the transition process to SAGE Intact• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Ceridian
• Proficient in Concur
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to perform all Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Background in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven skills in Auditing
• Proficiency in Billing Functions
• Experience with Quickbooks Online
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct
• Strong skills in Data Entry
• Understanding of the Accounting cycle
• Proficiency in Excel Formulas
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Intercompany Accounts
• Skilled in Cash Applications
• Proficiency in Concur Expense
• Knowledge of Asset Allocation
