We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager who will be responsible for leading the overall procurement activities associated with the Energetics & Propulsion Commodity team, which manages technologies such as Warheads, Radar Electronics, Batteries, Fuses, Pyros, Composites, and Containers. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic growth-oriented environment that supports a broad portfolio of programs across multiple Mission Areas and reports to the Sr. Procurement Manager.
This role will be onsite at a Raytheon facility.
What You Will Do:
Supervise a small team of subcontract managers, managing their workloads, goals, career & performance development, compliance of PO packages, and supplier/internal customer issues while managing your own portfolio of suppliers. Manage escalations and resolution of internal customer and/or supplier issues. Manage financial goals in relation to our subcontract deliveries. Drive the success of meeting business factory MRP. Drive success for metrics such as Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc. Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical as well as quality). Perform subcontract management of purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models, including preparation of solicitations (RFQ, RFP, RFI). Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms). Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity. Perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems. Travel to RTX and supplier facilities as deemed necessary - typical travel may be quarterly or more. Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or similar role. Experienced in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, space, aviation, power generation, or automotive. Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.). The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer:
Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Finance, or STEM field. Supervisory/leadership experience leading a team. Experience in the Aerospace industry. Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing Data and determine proposal compliance. Ability to understand technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statements of Work (SOW). Ability to process information and manage multiple conflicting priorities to drive to successful outcomes (i.e., multi-task). Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within one work area. Broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization. What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
