Position serves in one of the Chief roles within the Health Services Unit providing statewide support in achieving and maintaining compliance with Operating Procedures, Guidelines, and Standards governing the provision of medical care plan through directing and coordinating day-to-day health services operations. Assignments to other duties or locations may be necessary to meet the clinical and administrative needs of the Department. Minimum Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of procurement, writing and negotiating contracts, and managing budgets. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Advanced knowledge of DOC Operating Procedures governing inmate medical care. Special Instructions
