Description
Quality Manager:
- Lead and manage quality assurance and quality control personnel (team of 8).
- Define and enforce quality requirements for effective planning and compliance.
- Develop and implement new quality management systems aligned with ISO9001, AS9100, and other standards.
- Oversee Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives across business units.
- Conduct supplier quality audits and manage corrective action plans.
- Monitor and improve supplier quality performance to meet divisional goals.
- Interface with customers to provide technical assistance and resolve quality issues.
- Use automated systems to plan and track quality processes.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including FAA regulations.
- Foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture within the organization.
Profile
Quality Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in quality management within a world-class manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and related standards; FAA experience is a plus.
- Expertise in Total Quality Management (TQM) and statistical improvement methods.
- Leadership and team motivation skills.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated experience with supplier quality audits and performance management.
- Ability to implement and track quality systems using automated tools.
- Experience in corrective action development and problem-solving.
- Proactive and customer-focused approach to achieving quality objectives.
