Description
Quality System Development: Establish and maintain quality systems, procedures, and inspection plans to ensure compliance with quality standards
Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical evaluations to assess quality assurance and cost-of-quality metrics, and identify trends for improvement
Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality
Auditing: Conduct in-house and supplier audits to ensure compliance with specified requirements and improve supplier performance
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and address product failures through root cause analysis and corrective action planning
Customer and Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with customers and suppliers to address quality issues and implement performance improvement programs
Product Development Support: Provide quality-related input to product development teams to ensure standards are met from design to production
Training and Education: Develop and deliver training materials on quality assurance processes to educate team members
Audit Representation: Represent the company during internal and external audits, acting as a key contact and managing corrective action plans as needed
Documentation Management: Ensure all project and process control documentation complies with relevant standards, including ISO9001 and AS9100
Profile
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
2-4+ years of manufacturing experience
Strong knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and related standards; FAA experience is a plus.
Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Demonstrated experience with supplier quality audits and performance management.
Ability to implement and track quality systems using automated tools.
Experience in corrective action development and problem-solving.
Proactive and customer-focused approach to achieving quality objectives.
