Description
- Oversee and manage structural assessments of buildings, including identifying potential hazards and structural issues.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Lead and supervise teams during inspections, repairs, and renovations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop detailed reports on structural conditions and provide recommendations for repairs, reinforcements, or improvements.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during assessment and repair processes.
- Review and interpret design plans, blueprints, and structural assessments to develop effective solutions.
- Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and best practices related to structural safety and assessments.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring the successful completion of DSA-related projects.
Profile
- Experience in managing ground-up projects with a focus on DSA (Designated Structural Assessment) requirements and compliance.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, ensuring effective coordination between structural engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to oversee multiple DSA assessments, inspections, and repairs simultaneously.
- Proficient in resource allocation, ensuring efficient deployment of teams and materials for DSA projects.
- In-depth understanding of project scheduling, particularly in relation to structural assessments, repairs, and restorations.
- Excellent time management skills, ensuring DSA projects are completed on schedule while meeting regulatory standards.
- Valid driver's license, with the ability to travel to various sites for DSA assessments and inspections.
