Junior Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Delray Beach, FL, is seeking a Junior Litigation Attorney with 1-6 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist in various aspects of litigation matters and provide support to senior attorneys. Duties: Assist senior attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, motion practice, and trial. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary. Assist in case management and organization, including maintaining case files and calendars. Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to ensure efficient case progression. Participate in case strategy discussions and client meetings. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Florida State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion. 1-6 years of experience practicing litigation law, preferably in a law firm setting. Strong legal research and writing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
