Duties: Handle various secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring and reorganizations, and general corporate finance. Act as a key member of deal teams, taking responsibility for running signings and closings and drafting debt commitment papers and credit documentation. Provide support and guidance on direct lending, special situation financings, out-of-court and in-court restructurings, and private equity-related corporate finance transactions. Requirements: 4-5 years of relevant experience in debt finance practice. Admission to and a member in good standing of the District of Columbia Bar. Proven track record of handling secured lending matters and corporate finance transactions. Experience with signings and closings, drafting debt commitment papers, and credit documentation. Exposure to direct lending, special situation financings, and restructuring transactions is beneficial. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
