A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Foreclosure Associate Attorney to manage cases with a primary focus on residential real estate litigation, mortgage, and transactional matters. The candidate will protect the client's interests in litigation proceedings and general collection cases, with an emphasis on judicial foreclosure actions. This role involves handling complex cases from inception to completion, providing strategic advice, and representing clients in court. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage complex cases from inception to completion, focusing on judicial foreclosure actions. Prepare case analyses and advise clients on legal strategies. Draft court pleadings and defense motions, and handle heavily contested matters. Attend court hearings, contested motions, and conduct trials both telephonically and in person. Perform other duties and special projects as needed. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients. Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Ensure conscientious work completion, adherence to deadlines, time management, and attendance. Take initiative and identify necessary actions in the face of obstacles. Demonstrate commitment to the firm's vision, mission, and core values. Requirements: Admission to practice law in the state of Hawaii. 5+ years of experience in the practice of real estate or mortgage law. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interpret client systems and proficient in software tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet. Ability to manage and prioritize large and complex caseloads. Analytical and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Team player willing to assist others in the department as needed. Good work ethic and willingness to adapt to change. Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Admission to practice law in the state of Hawaii. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in legal research tools and software. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Commitment to client service and achieving favorable outcomes. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
