A law firm in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking a skilled Estate Planning Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a strong focus on drafting wills and estate documents, supervising their execution, and handling administrative functions related to estate planning. The candidate should have detailed knowledge of wills and estate laws, along with excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Duties: Draft and review legal documents related to estate planning, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Supervise the execution of wills and other estate planning documents. Provide expert legal advice on estate planning matters and assist clients in achieving their estate planning goals. Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law, including file management and documentation. Conduct thorough research and analysis to support estate planning strategies and client advice. Maintain detailed knowledge of wills and estate laws, including changes in legislation and case law. Ensure confidentiality of client and firm matters and uphold ethical standards. Deliver high-quality customer service and foster strong client relationships through attentive personal service. Requirements: Over 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on estate planning. Detailed knowledge of wills and estate laws. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and research skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Exceptional customer service and personal service orientation. Ability to ask pertinent questions, actively listen, and synthesize information to provide sound legal advice. Proven ability to maintain client and firm confidentiality. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications: Licensed to practice law in New York. Skills: Proficient in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents. Strong understanding of estate planning laws and legal precedents. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced organizational and time management skills.
