Estate Planning Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a highly motivated Estate Planning Attorney to join its practice in Tustin, California. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel on a variety of estate planning matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Duties: Draft and prepare estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Design and implement plans for asset distribution according to clients' wishes. Represent clients in legal proceedings related to estate planning. Negotiate on behalf of clients to reach favorable agreements. Maintain and update detailed client files and documentation. Supervise and work closely with paralegals and administrative staff. Provide ongoing legal counsel to clients in matters relating to estate planning and special needs planning. Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. An active member in good standing with the California State Bar. Knowledge and experience in estate planning, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Skills: Expertise in estate planning (wills, trusts, powers of attorney). Strong legal research and document drafting abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities. Ability to collaborate with a team and manage client relationships.
