SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Indev is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join one of our federal projects supporting the Department of Transportation in Washington, DC. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the migration from Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) to Angular. Your PM and leadership expertise will be crucial with capturing business requirements, schedule management, risk mitigation and delivering project updates to management and stakeholders, all while embracing the Agile mindset to foster innovation and rapid adaptation. This is a direct-hire, full time position with salary and benefits. YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead project planning efforts, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with the Department of Transportation’s goals and requirements. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and track progress to ensure timely completion of the migration from Oracle ADF to Angular. Oversee risk management activities, identifying potential risks and issues, and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and timely approval of expenditures. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, developers, and other team members, ensuring alignment and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management, and ensuring any deviations from the project plan are addressed promptly. Coordinate and oversee the execution of testing efforts, ensuring that the project meets all functional, performance, and security requirements. Ensure compliance with all federal regulations and guidelines related to IT projects, including documentation standards, security protocols, and project management processes. Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and collaboration within the project team. Provide leadership and mentorship to the project team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring team members are equipped to meet project goals. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE Bachelor’s degree. An associate degree with an extra three or more years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. 10+ years of planning and executing IT projects, with at least 5 years managing software development projects. PMP Certification Prior experience working with Federal customers to assess needs, solve complex problems, and manage risks; and implementing new and emerging IT technologies and applications. Skilled with Agile development implementation management Proficient in DevSecOps with a strong understanding of a wide range of technology stacks to include Angular, Java, Oracle. Experience using Jira and Confluence Excellent leadership skills. Exceptional communication skills to work seamlessly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. NICE TO HAVE’S Experience working in a Federal environment, preferably Department of Transportation Active Public Trust clearance CLEARANCE Must be a U.S. Citizen

and be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and will be required to pass a government background investigation.
