Location: This is a Hybrid role, based out of Laurel, Maryland 20707. What you'll do: Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Oracle Utilities Suite Developer to play a critical role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle's suite of utilities applications, particularly for utilities companies, municipalities, and other related sectors. The role typically focuses on developing solutions, enhancing system functionality, and ensuring the seamless integration of Oracle utilities applications such as Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAM), and Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM). Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Oracle Utilities applications, including CC&B, WAM, MDM, and related systems. Develop custom functionality, interfaces, and integrations within Oracle Utilities products to meet business requirements. Configure and customize Oracle Utilities Suite modules to align with industry best practices and client specifications. Create and maintain technical specifications and documentation for new features and solutions. Design and implement integrations with external systems and services (e.g., third-party software, legacy systems, cloud solutions). Manage data flow between Oracle Utilities applications and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM). Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize integrations to ensure seamless communication between platforms. Provide deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle Utilities products, specifically in areas such as Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Meter Data Management (MDM), and Work and Asset Management (WAM). Work with Oracle frameworks such as Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and other development tools like SOA Suite, Java, and PL/SQL to implement robust solutions. Develop and maintain SQL queries, database procedures, and custom reports within the Oracle Utilities Suite. Ensure optimal performance of Oracle databases and applications by fine-tuning queries, scripts, and database performance. Work with Oracle BI (Business Intelligence) tools to create custom reports and dashboards. Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues in Oracle Utilities Suite applications. Monitor system performance and resolve operational issues quickly to ensure minimal disruption to service. Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., QA, testing, operations) to support and improve system functionality and user experience. Collaborate with business users, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensure alignment with business objectives. Ensure all solutions comply with security, performance, and regulatory standards. Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. (Advanced degree can substitute for 2 years of experience) Experience: Ten (10) years of relevant experience in software development, with a focus on Oracle Utilities applications or similar large-scale enterprise systems. Significant experience working with Oracle Utilities Suite (specifically CC&B, MDM, WAM) and related Oracle technologies. Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and experience working with Oracle databases. Hands-on experience in Oracle SOA Suite, Java, Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework), and/or Oracle BI tools. Experience in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and other Oracle tools for configuration and customization. Strong proficiency in Oracle technologies, including Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Oracle Integration Cloud. In-depth knowledge of database design, optimization, and troubleshooting. Expertise in system integrations, APIs, and web services (REST, SOAP). Familiarity with utilities-specific processes such as billing, asset management, and meter data management. Preferred: Experience with utilities applications. Experience with any of the following: AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, ServiceNow, PowerBI, FileNet, Oracle Utilities Suite, and Multi-cloud environments. Advanced Degree. Clearance: The ability to pass a background check is required.
