Our metadata management team is seeking a skilled backend Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, operations, QA, editorial, marketing, business, and software engineering. AS A KEY MEMBER OF OUR TEAM, YOU WILL: Design and Build Innovative Solutions: Implement and maintain solutions for managing metadata and content powering experiences on Apple Devices. Your work will directly impact across apple services. Join our team Minimum Qualifications Proven experience as a Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience building scalable microservices. Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, .Net, C++, or Python. Strong experience modeling data in relational and NoSQL databases. Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies independently. Passion for collaboration and a team-oriented approach. Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Expertise in Java Experience building on cloud services Knowledge of Kubernetes and related tooling (Helm, Spinnaker, Kompose) Experience in the digital content industry is highly valued. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
