Purpose Statement We are seeking an experienced programmer to join our team and support Harris Data ERP system, integrated software applications, and hardware platforms in our manufacturing environment. Your contributions will impact the maintenance and management of system platforms, priorities of cross functional teams, and success of company initiatives across the organization. Essential Functions To perform this job successfully, the essential functions below will be part of the daily run the business activities. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Expert level in developing, testing, maintaining, modifying and implementing new or existing programs in IBM iSeries environment using RPG, CL, and SQL languages. Maintain and manage third party applications integrated with our ERP system. Write user and system documentation. Work with the business team to understand requirements and develop solutions to increase productivity and efficiency. Have good understanding of discrete manufacturing process. Team player, self-motivated and eager to learn. Must be able to work and collaborate within a team environment. Required skills: 10 years of development experience in RPG/400, RPG-ILE, and RPG Free-Form. Experienced in providing support and maintenance on existing AS400 based applications. Operations experience and knowledge of OS 400 operating system. Programming in .NET and PHP is a p;us but not required. Experience with Harris Data ERP is a plus but not required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software engineering or related field preferred.
