Overview/ Job Responsibilities Sev1Tech is looking for the Technical Project Manager (Mid-level) to play a role on a very large program involving network, cybersecurity, and cloud operations as well as infrastructure engineering support services to a government customer with a significant mission for security and public safety. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide end-to-end leadership from project planning through project closeout, including cost, schedule and risk management, for IT projects within scope of the customers Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) initiative Identify strategic milestones with customer stakeholders Create work packages tied to milestones, identify dependencies, and schedule work Provide technical direction to guide project team execution Manage critical project dependencies Communicate project status internally to senior management and externally to customers Track and manage IT project spend against budgets Provide technical expertise and data to support customer decision-making on solution alternatives and other investments Task and oversee Junior Project Managers as needed Communicate priority staffing needs to senior management Pro-actively identify issues and risks and escalate to senior management as necessary Provide data for ad hoc data calls generated internally or by customers Ensure project team adherence to quality and other standards Provide internal consulting, technical guidance, information and support to Tier 2 and Tier 3 analysts and engineers Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degree Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Technical Project Manager At least three (3) years of experience in federal contracting Knowledge and experience applying project management best practices Experience on NOC and or SOC and Infrastructure Engineering contracts Experience on projects involving Agile and DevOps processes Exemplary people skills, demonstrated through interactions with contractor personnel and customers Ability to multi-task effectively Understanding of and some experience overseeing implementation of ITIL practices Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Superior written and verbal communication skills Experience leading small project teams Experience on projects applying Agile practices Experience working with Jira and ServiceNow Experience on projects involving one or more of the following technologies: Akamai; Axonius; CA PAM (transitioning to CyberArk); CA Spectrum; CoreLight; Cisco Any Connect; Cisco Prime; Cisco Viptela; Crowdstrike; DynaTrace; ForeScout; Forward Networks; Grafana; Gigamon; INFOBLOX; NetScout; Nessus/Tenable; Nutanix; Palo Alto Global Protect; Palo Alto Panorama; Splunk; Swimlane; Zscaler Client Connector; Zscaler Internet Access; Zscaler Private Access Clearance Requirement: Public Trust clearance or higher; Public Trust clearance with Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs & Border Protection (CBP) preferred Desired Qualifications Previous experience with DHS PMP Certification Experience creating, tracking, and reporting on performance metrics ITIL Certification One or more network and or security Certifications About Sev1Tech LLC Founded in 2010, Sev1Tech provides IT, engineering, and program management solutions delivery.
