Our client is seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join their team at an established asset management firm in New York City. The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. This role requires strong communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role is from Jan-May 2025.
Client Details Asset Management Description
Greet and direct visitors, clients and employees in a professional and courteous manner Answer incoming calls and emails and route them to the appropriate department or employee Ensure the reception area is tidy and organized Assist the Office Manager with expense reports and reimbursements Schedule and coordinate meetings, including arranging conference rooms and preparing meeting materials Utilize Microsoft Office for scheduling meetings and communicating with employees/executives Receive office mail, packages, and deliveries and ensure proper distribution among the office Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Profile Qualifications: Completed Bachelor's Degree Prior experience in a receptionist or office role, ideally in a corporate or financial services preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Strongly proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Additional Details: Contract position (only) from January to May 2025 In-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 8am-5pm.
