The Pewaukee Fire Department is recruiting and currently accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Benefited Firefighter/EMT.
Applications and copies of other documents described below must be submitted to the City of Pewaukee Employee Services Department
no later than January 10, 2025 on the online job application portal at

Qualifications:
Required to be a State of Wisconsin certified EMT and Firefighter I; will be required to obtain Wisconsin State Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator Certification, both pumping and aerial as well as Firefighter II within first year. The Department will sponsor the applicant through Paramedic school after one year and applicants must pass the course to continue their employment. Applicants are required to hold a current CPAT Certificate or pass CPAT at time of conditional offer and prior to starting Academy. Also, must possess a valid Wisconsin driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Out-of-state candidates will be required to obtain Wisconsin reciprocity within 24 months of appointment for fire service certifications.
