Aerospace quality inspector

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the hands-on inspection of complex machined components and the verification of quality documentation in accordance with AS9100D standards. Responsibilities include inspecting machined and fabricated parts, assemblies, and subassemblies, using various inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators, and initiating non-conformance reports when necessary. Expertise in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports, and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and CMM functions are required. Good organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Responsibilities

Minimum of 5 years' experience in an aerospace quality position related to the "hands on" inspection of complex machined components and the verification of the associated quality documentation. •Prepares AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports & detailed inspection reports •Familiarity with Microsoft Excel •Expert in interpreting drawings including the practical application of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. •Review all quality documentation provided by subcontract manufacturers to ensure requirements are satisfied. This includes the review of material

traceability, process certifications, test reports and dimensional inspections, to ensure all required documentation has been provided, is 100% accurate and is compliant with the requirements of the purchase order. Efficiently coordinate the identification of missing, incomplete or incorrect documentation with the supplier •Completed receiving documentation and updates computer logs •Good organization and communication skills •Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining all internal schedules •Must be comfortable in fast-paced, development and production environment and must be a team player
