The Treatment Center Coordinator in the department of Endodontics is responsible for executing the daily Treatment Center activities under the direction and guidance of the Treatment Center Manager and the Clinical Program Director. The Treatment Center Coordinator collaborates with the front desk staff, faculty, and residents to ensure that the Treatment Center is running smoothly and serves as the contact person for all Treatment Center matters for patients, residents, vendors, and the university's administrative staff. Required Skills: High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. 3-5 years work experience. Previous experience working in a customer service environment with heavy customer/patient interaction required. Prior experience in healthcare in a private practice office, hospital, clinic, or dental practice preferred. Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes in the work environment including delays and unexpected events. Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands. Ability to identify problems/issues, critically think through problems (gather and analyze information skillfully), and present potential solutions in a timely manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality, remain open to others' ideas, and have a willingness to try new things. Ability to successfully collaborate and work in a team environment while also being an individual contributor. Excellent time management and organizational skills demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness; ability to monitor own work to ensure quality; ability to multi-task. Ability to work under pressure, maintain composure, and meet deadlines.
