Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/06/2025 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Requirements Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years CVOR experience; 1 year of main OR experience combined with 1 year of CVOR experience is acceptable. Traveler Experience: Not required. Locals Accepted: Yes, with rate differences applicable. Skills: Proficient in scrubbing cardiac cases; CVOR experience. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and Level 1 trauma experience preferred. Job Details Ratios: 1:1 Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 4 days a week (06:15 - 16:45). Call Requirement: 2 times per week, and every 3rd weekend. Float Requirement: To main OR on the same campus if no volume in CVOR. Weekend Requirement: Call shift every third weekend. Contract staff will be assigned to work with the Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur, and contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
