Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated CyberSecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's information systems and networks from cyber threats. You will work closely with various teams to implement security measures, monitor systems for vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, cloud services, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

Design and implement security architectures for various systems and applications. Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the system. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of servers, firewalls, and other devices. Manage identity access management processes to ensure only authorized users have access to sensitive data. Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident response plans. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies. Requirements

Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, and VPN configurations. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code. Experience with Army ATO process Experience with RMF and Emass Knowledge of load balancing techniques and storage area networks (SAN). Strong understanding of IP networking principles and identity access management practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a plus but not mandatory. Hands on experience with hardening (STIGs), Kubernetes, container and host vulnerability scanning (ex, Prisma, OpenScap). Experience with tools such as Palo Alto Firewalls or AWS WAF, AWS security groups. Experience with patching of EC2s and Kubernetes clusters (EKS) nodes, container image patching (Base Operating System). IAM management component with RedHat IdM and AWS IAM roles, etc. (principal of least privilege). Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,972.00 - $150,000.00 per year
