What you'll do:
Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior GIS Developer/Analyst to join our team and use advanced technologies to drive transformation in mission-critical services.
Location: This is a Hybrid role, based out of Laurel, Maryland 20707.
Responsibilities: Possesses and applies some knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Participates major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others. Write highly complex programs and develop user interfaces, menus, and macro-level scripts to meet user requirements in addition to performing complex spatial analyses and producing outputs according to customer specifications. Lead the development of geographic information systems which include WSSC water/ sewer geometric network and other related features into user friendly interfaces. Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Experience:
Must have experience managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple stakeholders or businesses. Must have expert knowledge and experience in Geographic Information systems. Must have good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment. Must have experience in test driven development. At least eight (10) years in a senior role with technical experience in the ITGIS field directly related to the required area of expertise. ESRI suite of tools and services, Javascript, SQL, Oracle or SQL databases, SharePoint, ServiceNow, MS Office products (Word, Excel). Preferred:
Experience with utilities applications. Experience with any of the following: AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, ServiceNow, PowerBI, FileNet, Oracle Utilities Suite, and Multi-cloud environments. Clearance:
The ability to pass a background check is required.
